New Audiobook Release: Isolation (Kid Sensation #8)

It actually occurred a few days ago, but the audiobook of Isolation (Kid Sensation #8) has now been released.

I feel blessed in that this one got released fairly quickly after final approval. ACX has been extraordinarily busy lately, so the time between completion and and release can vary immensely.

As usual, my narrator did an excellent job. He is now hard at work on the audiobook for Ignotus (Fringe Worlds #3), which I hope to release in early August.  That one’s about 450 pages long and just north of 100K words, so I anticipate the audiobook will be well over 10 hours in length.

Just FYI:  For those who are unfamiliar with audiobooks, you can actually speed of the rate of play. Many people have told me that they listen to audiobooks at 1.5x normal speed (and a few have told me they listen at 2x).  Long story short, some audiobook listeners will get through a 100K novel in something like 5 hours.

Anyway, I’m happy to report that the audio of Isolation has enjoyed a warm reception since it’s release. I checked and noted that it managed to snag a #1 ranking in one of its categories recently:

That said, Amazon still hasn’t seen fit to give it one of the little gold “Best Seller” ribbons, but I guess you can’t have everything.  Regardless, I’m grateful to readers and listeners for their continued support for me and my work. Have a great weekend, and please stay safe.

  1. WTF, I searched for it last night and it wasn’t on audible, or at least not on my phone. Now I have to double check or wait till I get home ??
