I failed to mention it earlier, but Smoked is currently on sale for $0.99.
It’s the first time this one’s been on sale, and I feel blessed that it’s done well – picking up the “#1 Best Seller” tag in a couple of places.
I love the character of Smokescreen, so it was great to finally be able to shine the spotlight on him. As I’ve noted before, Smoked is actually the longest book I’ve written thus far. That was not intentional; the story just worked out that way.
I’ve pointed it out before, but I’m terrible at predicting how long a story will be. For me – as I’ve said in the past – the story tells itself. So I’ll be thinking a novel will be about 300 pages, and it’ll end up being 400. In my book, that’s the story that needed to be told, so that’s the story that ended up on the page.
